This contest is open globally to all researchers, university faculty and students (undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral), researchers at scientific institutions, independent scholars, and professionals in related fields who are interested in scientific illustration and AI technology.

Prize money will be paid out via bank transfer or PayPal, and memberships will be directly added to the winners' accounts.
Submissions must be original illustrations related to scientific research. This includes, but is not limited to, experimental flowcharts, data visualizations, conceptual diagrams, biological structures, chemical reactions, and physics diagrams. Works should demonstrate scientific accuracy, aesthetic appeal, and innovation.
Submissions can be created using any AI-powered illustration tool. (Submissions created using the FigureLabs platform will receive an additional 15 points. This must be noted upon submission).
Submit a high-resolution image file (PNG or JPG, 300 dpi or higher). Include a brief description in English (under 300 words) explaining the scientific background and design concept. (If using FigureLabs, you must provide the original FigureLabs file or screenshots to verify its use).
Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 entries.
Entries must be original and not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights. Entrants must agree to allow FigureLabs to use their work for promotional activities (with author attribution).

Step Two
Submit your entry files and description before the deadline. Each person may submit up to 3 entries.
Step Three
A professional judging panel will review the entries based on the judging criteria. Winners will be announced on the FigureLabs official website on January 30, 2026.
